About Baobab

Baobab’s purpose is to spread wellbeing and happiness, by making and sharing delicious organic soaps and lip balms with only the finest natural ingredients.

Research shows that the simple act of handwashing with soap can save millions of lives. Our “Manos Felices” program is at the center of our work. Every time someone uses our products, they’re helping to bring soap and hygiene education to schools in Guatemala.

Baobab is growing fast. We were the first Guatemalan company to start making handcrafted certified organic personal care products, which can now be found in over 200 stores. We are expanding our sales to Central and South America, and soon to the USA.

We are passionate about what we do, and we want to share that passion with the world. We see social media as being a key tool for growing the Baobab community and turning it into a family.
