BOGOTA – Police seized 3.3 tons of cocaine and 25 kilograms of heroin in the northern Colombian port city of Barranquilla that were ready for shipment to Honduras, the largest such seizure made this year nationwide, officials said.

Drug enforcement agents found the cocaine in two containers in the port of Barranquilla early Saturday, President Juan Manuel Santos said.
